I just realized something.
Kelly Bishop played the original Sheila in “A Chorus Line”. She is now on the show Bunheads playing a ballet instructor.
Her character in “A Chorus Line” was in the song ‘At the Ballet’ where she sang: “It wasn’t paradise/It wasn’t paradise/It wasn’t paradise/But it was home.”
I think that might be why they made the town in Bunheads Paradise, CA?
Being a theater kid comes with a crapload of random knowledge.
